<p>So, today is my 2nd day working as the transporter for Gastro Special Procedures. I gotta say I like the work. I can float around helping out where I'm needed and I can also leave the department when a patient needs to be brought down. It's a pretty wide range of stuff to do which is what I like. Oops, gotta go do some work, more later!

Workin' it!

I got laid off from Swedish Medical Center and was offered a per diem position in place of my full time position. I took it and after about a month of only working about 2 days a month, I got offered full time hours in the Gastro Special Services department of the Swedish. So there I have been training for the last couple of weeks and I gotta say, it's a very nice change from where I was. I'm looking forward to learning everything I can as soon as I can. Hopefully I can be offered a full time FTE again.

That would be a nice addition. Much better than the browser the PS3 currently uses.

The Mean Machine

Well, the new computer has been up and running for a couple of weeks now. All the kinks seem to be worked out. I was having an issue with random lock-ups. Fortunately (and a bit frustratingly) it seemed to have worked itself out. I never made an official diagnosis and that's why it's a little frustrating. I hate to let things like this go. Gaming on this thing is truly a sight to behold! Everything runs flawlessly at 1920x1200! And smooth as ice too! No dropped frames, everything cranked to the max! Beautiful!

Computer stuff

Today I finally mailed off the processor and the cooler that came with it. Sent them back to Newegg.com for a credit to my account. Should be 3-5 days till they get it. Then 3-5 days till the process the RMA. Then 3-5 for them to credit my account. It will be a few hours most likely before I place the order for the Core i7 920 processor that I meant to order in the first place. Then 3-5 days till it arrives to my house from Newegg.com.
